Becky Mortimer
Founder and Principal

Becky directs all research initiatives at Stereotipo. She is responsible for designing and maintaining the unique methodology and interpreting information as it relates to clients. Becky Mortimer has over 15 years experience in the Consumer Products arena. She has held key roles in Product Development, Marketing and General Management. As the Director of Product, Children's Category at Converse Inc., from 1997 until 2000, she was constantly analyzing and strategizing on consumer needs. Prior to Converse, she was the International Marketing Manager at Bata Shoe Corporation, a $2.6B global shoe entity, where she gained several years of experience working in Latin America, Asia and Europe.

Prior to Bata, she was the General Manager at Zulu Apparel Products, a domestic sportswear company based in Montreal, Canada. In all her roles, an acute understanding of the consumer has been critical to success. She holds an MBA from the leading Spanish business school, IESE where she specialized in Marketing. In addition to being fluent in Spanish she also has a keen understanding of and a passion for the Hispanic culture.
